The European Union's policy making body agreed that injunctions, which can block the sale of products, can be used as a possible remedy for patent infringements. The hope of being able to create rifts between the EU and the U.S., thereby making the sanctions-coalition come apart, has been a familiar refrain among Iranian politicians for years. The already politically engaged citizen class should take advantage of the Citizen Consultations and advocate a firm legal framework supporting a greater stake of citizens in EU policymaking procedures. €�The tariffs taxes, which will come into effect by June 6, will range from 37.3% to 67.9%, according to the document, drafted by the European Commission. The new policy has allowed the EU to project strong European and Transatlantic foreign policy co-operation at a crucial time, and while lining up with the US presents as many problems as it does opportunities, elections in Iran are unlikely to have any major impact on it.
